For Unto Us

A Simple Christmas Set Design

We had a very simple set design that includes 3 main components.
1.  Projection Panels - Made from .112" Lexan type plastic which was
then sprayed with spray frost for projection purposes.
2.  Extended Environmental Projection Rental - We rented two Panasonic
projectors and transformed our 3-projector Environmental projection system
into a 5-projector Environmental projection system.
3.  Lighting - There were several lighting components in the design.
a.  Home-Spun Lighting Bars - using cheap dj lights we had already had
      in-house
b.  Rental Lighting - We rented 12 Robin100 lights as well as 6 Clay Paky
      B-eye's.

Projection Panels

1.  We purchased several panels of specific size and thickness and then painted
      them with spray frost.
2.  We then lined up two projectors fed from ProPresenter 6.0 attached to a
TripleHead2Go using two of the outputs.
3.  This iteration of PP6.0 was controlled by the our main iteration of PP6.0
that runs lyrics via the Master/Slave Module.

Rental Lighting

1.  We used 12 Robin100 fixtures to line the front edge
of the forward thrust stage controlled by standard DMX protocol.
2.  We used 6 Clay Paky B-Eye's in a wedge on the upstage portion of the
     main-stage controlled by ArtNet.

Home-Spun Lighting

I designed and built three lighting tree's consisting of six total light fixtures.
1.  There are two Chauvet ColorStrip Fixtures
2.  There is one Chauvet ColorStrip Fixture
3.  There are two Chauvet LEDScan200's
4.  There is one Chauvet LEDScan300

These fixtures are hanging from a single 1.5" x 6' pipe at differing heights.  With such a low electrical overhead all 18 fixtures would be more than covered on a single 110v circuit.  We did use separate circuits in this application.

All the fixtures are fed via standard DMX protocol.
